Crossing- KaC: 12 An Aggressive Interview

"Umm... Well..." Killian stammered, surprised at how quickly Borias realized he was a cop. The Dragoness tilted her head curiously, a wide grin crossing her face. "Well, what?" Borias tapped a claw on the floor, a claw as long and sharp as a velociraptor's. Finally Killian mustered up the nerve to pull out his badge, though Borias already knew he was an officer. "I-I'm here investigating the Orchid Killings-" Killy suddenly stopped when he saw a flicker in Borias's eyes, almost like she was surprised. "The killings didn't happen anywhere near here, why come so far out of yer way?" Killian frowned in response. "First of all, the killings happened but a few miles from this here... establishment. I'm here because- we had an anonymous tip that the killer frequented this club." Killy lied, knowing it was a bad idea to reveal any information about the scroll. Borias let out a little laugh, almost a girly giggle, which seemed uncharacteristic for such a tough looking dragon. "Sir, I assure you there's no connection between MY club and THOSE murders. The tip was anonymous, how do you know it was credible?" "Is there any reason why somebody would LIE about the killer coming here?" Killy countered. "It's not like this place caters to law-abiding Demons. I know what goes on here." Borias let out a growl, her tail lashing in frustration. "You don't know HALF of what goes on here. Know what? get the hell out of my club." The dragoness hissed. When Killy, instead of moving, pulled out his phone to call backup Borias grabbed him by the collar and hoisted him up off the floor. "Ye got some sort of deathwish?" She growled. Now it was Killy's turn to laugh. "Borias. Part of the reason your patrons get away with so many crimes is because you put on the front of a law abiding citizen. How would it look for you to beat the crap out of a police officer in front of all your customers?" The Llnuvian said with a grin. Already people were starting to stare, the bouncers watching curiously in case they needed to intervene. Borias's eyes suddenly changed dramatically. Lasting only for a second, her eyes flashed a bright golden-yellow before returning to the normal black. This change was highly unusual, and certainly not an ability normally possessed by dragons. Whatever Borias was, Killian was certain she was hiding some kind of secret. Unfortunately, Killian didn't notice that Borias was carrying him to the door. "AND STAY OUT!" She roared, throwing Killy out the doors and down the stairs. Landing with a thud, Killy groaned in pain. "Urk... Owww..." Too weak to get up off the ground, Killian pulled out his phone and called Cryana, telling her the whole story. "Snerk... She threw you out? HAH!" Cry laughed when he finished talking. "That must've hurt!" "Yeah... It did..." Killian groaned in reply. "Ok ok Killy don't worry I'll be there in a few minutes to pick you up." Cry said before hanging up. "Right... So... Who is this Borias character...?" Killian thought aloud, picking himself up off the ground and walking back to the street...
